The Old Home Place.
This is the barn located where Dad was raised in Bradley County, Tn. He remembered falling from the barn and breaking his arm. According to family stories this also is where George Washington Woods was killed. All that remains of the house is the chimeny.
The Cumberland Shed's Presperterian Church
Located across the road from the Cumberland Shed's Cemetery in Polk County, Tn. Several of the Woods family members are buried here including, George W. Woods, Nancy Stinnett Woods, Mary Cummings Woods, Dennis Wilburn Woods, Hoyt Woods and others.
